Renowned French conductor Emmanuel Villaume, who "drew glowing in nuanced playing from the orchestra" (The New York Times) in his Spring 2014 Juilliard appearance, returns to lead the Juilliard Orchestra in an all-French program of masterworks by Ravel and Debussy. 

Juilliard artists share their talent with the community in these free, hour-long, lunchtime concerts on Wednesday afternoons throughout the season. 

New York Philharmonic Music Director Alan Gilbert will electrify the Granada Theatre in the final Academy Festival Orchestra concert of the season, starring the iconic soprano and Mosher guest artist Renée Fleming in Strauss' Four Last Songs and highlighting the orchestra in Brahms' powerful First Symphony.

Music Academy of the West's orchestra playing side-by-side the New York Philharmonic with Alan Gilbert conducting Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.

Following intensive coaching with the Takács Quartet, String Quartet Seminar fellows will offer a showcase program of gorgeous and timeless repertoire.

Matthew Aucoin conducts the Music Academy of the West Concerto Competition winners in Piano, Strings, and Woodwinds in dazzling fireworks for orchestra and soloist, followed by the world premiere of his own Crossing suite.

Music Director of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Edo de Waart conducts the Academy Festival Orchestra in the lush Second Symphony. Opened by Mason Bates' Garages of the Valley.
